Abu Dhabi Transit Visa

An Abu Dhabi transit visa allows passengers with a stopover at Zayed International Airport (AUH) to leave the airport and explore the city during their layover. If you’re eligible for visa-free entry or a visa on arrival, you can generally leave the airport as long as your layover gives you enough time to clear immigration and return comfortably. If you need to apply for a UAE transit visa in advance, this option is typically available for layovers of 8 hours or more.
